Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is localised pain on the outside of the elbow. Despite its name it is not only caused by tennis! Additional causes are other racquet sports, repetitive gripping, e.g. using secateurs and overuse or unaccustomed use of the wrist and elbow e.g. prolonged painting.<\/p>\n

Tennis elbow is notoriously difficult to treat and can last for months.
